DoubleTree by Hilton St. Paul, MN

Let me just say that I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it's always been great but 2 things were different this time. Having to pay for parking ($10/night) and you had to ask for the cookies and they had to go in the back to get them. BUT…. The saving grace for the entire hotel was Lisa who works in the restaurant, McKnights, that’s inside of the hotel. She was the sweetest, kindest person that I’ve met in a really long time. She was the only one working in the restaurant and while it got quite busy, she kept her sweet disposition the whole time. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights that we stayed there and she was great both nights. Also, the food was EXCELLENT so kudos to the chef too! I hope that when we go back to visit our family, Lisa will be at McKnights because she is just TERRIFIC!

Did not get any of the coupons that were advertised to come with the room. Breakfast was done serving at 10:00 and not 11:00 like we thought so we missed it. Had to drive around a long distance to find an APPLEBEES to eat.

The rooms were clean, the property was in a nice spot. And some of the staff were nice.

I loved the hot tub! My room was very clean and the hotel itself is pretty quiet. The staff and the other guests are friendly. The complementary shuttle was nice as well.

Breakfast and service was amazing. Hotel staff were friendly and kind. Room was clean and comfortable once adjusted climate control. Free Water in lobby was nice. Free cookies available on request at front desk. Sitting area spacious in lobby. Had laundry facilities and nice ironing board in room.
